Vacancy Details

We are in need of a strong Desktop Support Engineer for a 12month contract in Cape Town. Office 365 experience and a good all-rounder to support the overall business. A minimum of 5-years’ experience is required for the position.

Duties include:

  • Responsible for the resolution of any end user support related issues including but not limited to desktop support, mobile device support, audio visual support.
  • Implementation of new technology and the standardization of all systems (hardware, software and processes) in the Desktop support area
  • Resolve issues proactively.
  • Administer and manage all systems in line with standards and policy.
  • Make sure updates are rolled out to all systems.
  • Onsite end user support for all desktop devices for the staff
  • Effective and efficient handling of assigned incidents.
  • Maintenance of all hardware on workstations.
  • Ensure end user satisfaction with excellent service with regards to assigned incidents.
  • Professional and efficient communication to relevant stakeholders.
  • A single point of contact for the staff for any IT related issues, escalations or IT related consulting
  • AD Accesses
  • PC profiles sets up to be done.
