Bursary Details:
- Study Levels & Fields:
- Degree (NQF Level 7): BA/BSc/BCom in specified fields
- Professional Degree (NQF Level 8): BEd/BEd Honours/BA Honours/BSc Honours/BCom Honours in specified fields
- Post Graduate Certificate (NQF Level 6): PGCE
- Diploma (NQF Level 6): Any field of study
- Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7): Any field of study
- Higher Certificate (NQF Level 5): Any field of study
Expenses Covered:
The bursary covers various expenses, including tuition fees, learning materials (books, laptop, and stationary), accommodation, and a meal allowance.
Payment & Selection:
- Bursary fees are paid directly to the student’s tertiary institution.
- The total bursary value may vary based on the qualification being pursued.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the ETDP SETA Bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- South African citizen
- Unemployed
- Completed Matric (National Senior Certificate)
- Studying or intending to study a qualifying field at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- Not receiving any other bursary funding
