The Women’s University in Africa WUA Admission Requirements 2024/2025…… The Undergraduate, Masters & Doctorate Programmes Entry Requirements has been released for the 2024/2025 academic session.
For admission into Undergraduates, Postgraduates, Diploma and Masters programs at the Women’s University in Africa WUA for any first degree or second degree, an applicant must have the following requirements for successful admission.
These admission requirements are for various programmes offered at the institution, it serves as a guide in the application process. All interested applicants are to read through carefully making sure that they fulfill the requirements before putting in an application.
Women’s University in Africa WUA Admission Requirements 2024/2025
A minimum of 5 O’ Level subjects, including English, Mathematics and a Science subject.
- A minimum of 2 A’ level subjects for subjects below 25 years of age
- 5 O’ Levelsubjects including English and Mathematics for students aged 25 years and above.
- 4 O’ Levelsubjects for students aged 40 years and above since they have Acquired Prior Learning (APL)
- Diploma in Education holders will be exempted from Professional Studies and one year Teaching Practice (T.P.).
- A minimum of 5 “O” level passes including English Language at grade C or better.
- Possession of a Diploma in Infant Education or Early Childhood Development/Pre-school.
- A minimum of two years working experience in infant grades one-three or in a pre-school setting
Have passed at least 5 subjects at General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level including Mathematics and English Language and
Hold at least a Diploma in an Approved IT field or equivalent qualifications from recognised institutions; OR
Candidates could:-
Have passed at least 5 subjects at General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level including Mathematics and English Language and
Have Advanced Level passes in Mathematics and any other Science or Commercial subjects.
Mature entry
For mature entry candidates will be considered as stipulated in the General Regulations.
- Passes in at least five ‘O’ level approved subjects with Grade C or better, two of which should be English Language and Mathematics and should possess relevant National Diplomas (ND) or Higher National Diplomas (HND) in Business Studies and/or Computer Studies. Other professional qualifications which demonstrate that the applicants are able to manage degree studies may be considered (such as part CIS, ACCA, CIMA, and SAAA) and at least two years relevant working experience OR;
- Passes in at least five ‘O’ level approved subjects with Grade C or better, two of which should be English Language and Mathematics and at least two passes in ‘A’ level subjects relevant to the field of study.
- To qualify into the Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Purchasing and Supply Management Degree a candidate in addition to satisfying the minimum conditions as prescribed under the General Regulations and the Faculty Regulations for Mathematics and English at ‘O’ Level must have obtained at least 2 passes at “A” Level in commercial subjects; OR
- in place of ‘A’ levels hold a diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management, Accountancy, Marketing Management, IMM, CIM, SAIM will be considered and at least two years working experiencing in purchasing environment.
- Applicants should have a minimum of 5 ‘O’ level subjects including English Language and Mathematics with a grade C or better and at least 2 ‘A’ level passes which include at least two commercial subjects. OR;
- Candidates should have a minimum of 5 ‘O’ level subjects including English Language and Mathematics and minimum of a National Diploma in a finance related qualification or hold an approved accountancy diploma e.g. Institute of Chartered Secretaries (CIS), Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and Higher National Diploma (HND)
- Applicants can be considered for admission under two different provisions indicated below;
- 5 ‘O’ level subjects including English language plus
- 2 ‘A’ level subjects which include at least two commercial subjects OR
- 5 ‘O’ level subjects including English language and at least two years of relevant working experience. The applicant should be at least 25 years of age. Holders of the Institute of People Management of Zimbabwe (IPMZ) diploma may also apply.

Entry requirements for a Postgraduate degree Programme
A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.
Duration of Programme: 1 Academic Year
Entry requirements for a Masters degree Programme
A Bachelors’ degree or postgraduate diploma from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.
Duration of Programme: 2 Academic Years
Entry requirements for a Doctorate degree Programme
A Masters’ degree from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.
