Responsibilities:
- Design, integrate, implement, test, maintain and support the SWIFT Alliance suite, SWIFTNet, Network (Firewall/Routers/HSMs etc.) and SWIFTNet Web Access infrastructures).
- Implement the SWIFT customer security framework in accordance with governance and compliance standards.
- Perform SWIFT continuity planning and disaster recovery testing as well as SWIFT operating centre (OPC).
- Understand and internalise client requirements and provide technical assistance to other SWIFT users and end-users in their daily work.
- Liaise with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
- Create and maintain technical network, server, storage and security documentation and procedures to ensure continuity of network services.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- Comply with the firm’s policies, procedures, and other legislative requirements.
- Provide technical support to the business.
- Report periodically on the level of adherence to the various relevant frameworks in order to measure compliance.
Desired Experience & Qualification:
- To be considered for this position, one must have:
- National Diploma (NQF 6) in Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
- SWIFT and Cybersecurity Certifications.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in SWIFT and Information Security environments.
- AIX, Linux, MQ and Network Certifications.
- Knowledge and skill in: Quality Assurance, Business Continuity Planning, Networking Infrastructure, Systems Integration and Specialisation.
