Junior Control Systems Engineer (JHB) Job at Ad Hoc Client

Duties & Responsibilities:
• To design cost effective Automation systems according to Client requirements
• To develop PLC programs for Client for implementation of their requirements
• To develop SCADA and/or HMI applications according to client specifications
• To design Industrial Communication networks for software implementations (Ethernet, Optic Fibre,
Profibus, etc.)

• To develop documentation on the implementations

• To implement and Commission the complete solutions and ensure their optimal functioning

• To provide Client training on the implemented systems

• To provide Client support post-commissioning

Desired Experience & Qualification:
• Degree, Technical Diploma or NQF Equivalent in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering

• IT skills: Programming in such languages like C, C++, C#, Java, SQL

• Industry related experience an added advantage

• Specific Industry related system knowledge and training on PLC Control Systems from OEMs such as Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell as well as Wonderware or Adroit or Ignition Scada Systems an added advantage

Package & Remuneration:
R180k to R480k
