RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop detailed technical designs that will deliver an optimum solution for complex customer requirements and produce appropriate design documents
Coordinate technical implementation and take full responsibility for the success of technical components of international delivery projects, delivering a differentiated customer experience,Strong Program Management Skills: Lead infrastructure implementations for SpectrumOne customers
Customer Support: Represent the company’s technical capabilities and manage day-to-day technical needs of customers. Support and enable customer specific solutions to grow their business. Steer customer expectations according to product and network capabilities,
Provide technical advice & support for complex customer requirements during (Pre and Post) sales,
Maintain required technical knowledge up-to-date and drive innovation,
Establish professional relationships with key stakeholders and manage interfaces effectively,

PART B – Project Contractual Requirements:
Network Design – Data Collection:
Collecting, from Nokia and customer systems and documents, required data (network, sites, nodes, subscribers, configurations, services, policies, security, processes) necessary for building high level and low-level designs. Cross checking and mapping information as needed to create consistent and ready-to use inputs for the design. Data cleansing and consolidation as required. Design data collection activities need to be performed in line with the Customer and Project specific Technical, Operational and Contractual requirements and in accordance to the number of sites/nodes assigned per period.

Network Design – High Level Design:
Preparation of high-level design guidelines. Preparing High level designs (HLD) for network new platforms & new services system requests. Organizing customer workshops to review HLD and making necessary amendments to reach a first approved version. Verifying the design request over design tool and building HLD documentation as per agreed templates. Documenting all design assumptions and managing design versioning. Design activities need to be performed in line with the Customer and Project specific Technical, Operational and Contractual requirements and in accordance to the number of SoWs or use cases assigned per period.

Network Design – Low Level Design:
Preparation of low-level design guidelines. Preparing Low level designs (LLD) for network new platforms & new services system requests. Organizing customer workshops to review LLD and making necessary amendments to reach a first approved version. Granting all necessary approvals for the updated designs and maintaining design documents versioning. Design updates need to be performed in line with the customer and project specific technical, operational and contractual requirements and in accordance to the number of change requests assigned per period.

Network Design – Low Level Design Updates:

Survey: Data Sourcing, Data Collection, Populate Survey Template. Weighting (10%),
HLD: Prepare Topo, Schematic, STAC Register, BOQ, LOAD SAP, SPIN File, GIS Boundary Weighting (40%),
LLD: Prepare, Spider Schematic, Tx-OPS, Netplan Pre-Load, Webtool, OSP EXE Weighting (35%),
As Built: Complete Netplan Post Load (Connectivity), Update and Amend All Planning Doc’s,
GIS Boundary, SAP 3-way Alignment & Submit for ECC Weighting (15%)

Authorities:
Manage the planning requirements that will deliver a minimum of 1,500 Home Passes every month,
Deliver all works order tasks 96% of the time within scope, budget and the agreed timeline,
​​​​​​​Deliver all tasks and responsabilities 96% of the time with with zero defects or errors,

Desired Experience & Qualification:

Qualification: A related degree, diploma(s) or relevant education,
Knowledge: On GIS (Geographic Information System) applications, preferably OpenServe Netplan,

Experience:

Experience: Minimum 6 years experience in fibre transmission planning, advanced knowledge in fibre network built and planning, fibre types, fibre specifications which includes the knowledge of the equipment and material used to build a fibre network, splicing and configuration.
