Well-established designer and manufacturer of power electronic products seeks to employ a hands-on team leading Embedded Software Engineer at their premises in Centurion.
For the position you would be required to have:
- B. Eng/ B. Sc in Electronic Engineering (Software Engineering)
- Minimum of 5 years’ embedded software experience
- Coding languages: C Embedded, Python, Java Script
- Experience: AC/DC Inverters, control system design, model based design experience using Matlab to take software from model to real world implementation
- Leadership ability
Responsibilities would include you to:
- Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment
- Design, develop, code, test and debug system software
- Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources
- Integrate and validate new product designs
- Interface with hardware design and development
- Manage team members and resources to ensure targets are met
