Software Architect / Engineer with solid skills in model based design required to join their R&D team. Managerial/ team leading skills coupled with embedded design, software development on MATLAB, Simulink and an interest in Control Systems . Excellent career scope challenges. Commercial and renewable R&D projects international and local clients and ensuring Design documentation standards are met;
- Analytical design calculations
- Design documentation standards
- Analytical design calculations

- Control Systems;
- Reliability Engineering, Task planning and contracting
- Design and development activities
- General Engineering responsibilities
- Debugging & fault finding etc
Minimum qualifications and experience:
- BEng Electronic or Computer Engineering or BSc Computer Science
- 6-10 years software design skills in embedded SW engineering, MATLAB, Simulink
- Solid fundamental knowledge of mathematics, physical sciences, and general electronic
engineering disciplines and design principles linked to the individual’s academic qualifications and
area of expertise; - Design and innovation skills are required and further enhanced through the use of engineering
The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
- Model based design
- Mentoring junior staff and manage teams from a technical perspective, but also be hands-on involved in all Design
- tools, simulation
