A very busy workshop has an opportunity available for a young, enthusiastic, and energetic service advisor and debtors/creditor clerk and who is looking for a long stable career. We are not looking for “job hoppers”.
The purpose of the role is to provide prompt and quality service to customers relating to the service, repair, and maintenance of vehicles/components, acting as an interface between the technical team and the customer to ensure cost-effective repairs and quality service is delivered to customers.
The Service Advisor provides estimated cost analysis of repairs and routine maintenance, and through effective communication with customers, determines the services necessary, predicts the time needed for completion, and stays in constant communication with the customer during the repair process.
Debtors/Creditors clerk which will include the management of the accounts and petty cash.
Details include:
- Administration
- Customer Service
- Reception duties
- Attend to calls, emails and whatsapps
- Booking customers in
- Opening of Jobs, quoting/costings and invoicing
- Building good relationships with suppliers and customers
- Basic administration of Debtors and creditors
- Petty cash experiance and knowledge
- Adhoc duties relating to the job.
Candidate Requirements
- Min of 3 years’ experience as a Service Advisor with a strong administration capability and expertise with a reputable Dealership / Vehicle / Truck or Commercial brand
- Strong knowledge of administrative processes and systems (workshop management system)
- Exceptional customer service capabilities
- Excellent administrative abilities
- Grade 12 Matric + Driver’s license
- Computer literate
- Customer friendly and service orientated.
- Able to work in a highly pressurised environment.
- Must have attention to detail.
