- Assumption of Duty: Candidates will undergo an interview (face-to-face or Microsoft Teams) and online Moodle training sessions.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete and execute assessment tasks professionally.
- Comply with UNISA policies on tuition, assessment, examination, and plagiarism.
- Act ethically and professionally in dealing with all assessment tasks.
- Mark assessment tasks fairly and consistently.
- Attend markers meetings and submit marking reports on time.
- Maintain confidentiality of all assessment tasks.
Requirements:
- Applicable and relevant qualifications equivalent to NQF level 9 or 10 (e.g., Geography Masters’ degree or Ph.D. in the appropriate discipline).
Skills and Competencies:
- Basic knowledge of the relevant discipline.
- Understanding of assessment and assessment practices.
- Familiarity with marking procedures.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback on assessment tasks.
- Knowledge of academic dishonesty and plagiarism.
