Our client specializing in the petrochemical industry is looking for a dynamic, customer focused Retail Manager to oversee their convenience store on site in George.
Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Ensure that the store is clean and tidy and all housekeeping is done to company standards
- Ensure that the merchandising / promotions and specials are well displayed to attract attention
- Ensure all staff are well presented, in the correct uniforms and ready for duty.
General Administration:
- Print and process store orders
- Process GRV’s, Invoices and credit notes
- Print and send daily / weekly recons to applicable person/s
- Assist team with daily stock take activities – cycle counts and monthly stock counts
- Liaise with relevant internal departments essential to daily / weekly and monthly tasks
- Ability to resolve all queries
- Will be required to work Monday to Sunday, including public holidays
- Filing activities and other administrative tasks as required
- Any other ad hoc duties as required daily / weekly and monthly
Qualifications:
- Matric essential
- Fully bilingual – English and Afrikaans
- Computer literate – MS Office Suite
- 5 years’ experience in Administration (retail) sector
- Own reliable transport

- Strong administrative skills and computer literate
