Lodges Our client based on a beautiful reserve is looking to recruit a dynamic, hands-on, energetic Hospitality Manager to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for developing the strategic direction and annual plans for all hospitality operation, the reserve across the organization.
  • Work closely with the senior leadership teams of the organization to ensure operational support Ensure hospitality guest experiences are aligned with the wider objectives of the organization.
  • Create systems and conditions that enable the lodges to provide guests with outstanding experience.
  • Work closely with support teams to ensure that the desired standards are documented, and audits are developed.
  • Coordinating the development of the organization wide annual plans for the hospitality operations including Budgets Manning needs CAPEX Working closely with F&B, Lodge managers and other heads of department o ensure the implementation of plans and successful execution of the strategic intent of the hospitality function.
  • Monitors the performance of hospitality operations across the organization
  • Ensuring lodge and hospitality teams continuously develop and display the level of competence, professionalism, excellence, protocol and etiquette.

Technical Skills:

  • Ability to lead the hospitality senior teams
  • Experienced in overseeing and directing multiple teams
  • Experienced in selecting, motivating and guiding management team members
  • Experienced in preparing organisation wide annual plans including budgets and monitoring financial performances
  • Competent in correctly developing and ensuring policies, processes and standards are implemented and applied across the hospitality operations functions
  • Ability to analyze and improve operational effectiveness and efficiencies
  • Ability to monitor and ensure compliance with health, safety, security and other legal requirements across operations

Qualifications:

  • Formal management qualifications
  • Batchelor degree and / or diploma in hotel management and / or other related fields
  • MS Office Suite – Intermediate
  • 8 years’ experience in luxury lodges / hotel leadership role
  • Demonstrate previous experience in luxury accommodation – hotel / resort and / or lodge environment
