Do you enjoy working in a busy deadline driven environment, able and willing to assist in all areas of a business, and very proficient with formulas in Excel? Our client based in Diep River requires your excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans to be an office assistant to their Operations Manager. Must be willing to learn new software skills related to their systems and have the attitude to problem solve where necessary!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric, relevant qualifications advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
  • Computer Literate, must be good with Formulas using Excel
  • Will to assist all round within the company where needed
  • Willing to learn new skills and software
  • Ability to be proactive and problem solve and not sit back waiting for solutions

DUTIES

  • Assisting the Operations Manager all round with administrative requirements
  • Manage quotations
  • Daily data capturing of daily stock movements
  • Keep project files up to date and organized
  • Assisting Operations Manager with inhouse software, generating & submitting material lists to the factory to prepare orders for each new project requirement
  • Assist with basic internal claims for ongoing projects
  • Answering of office phone when needed
  • Assist with daily schedule and team allocations
  • Safety files to be printed and prepared for every new project
  • Ensure drivers and Site staff have all their relevant equipment on a weekly basis
  • Dealing with customers in the absence of the Manager
  • Problem solving in any area
