A Learnerships Programmes can be described as a training programme that consists of both theoretical and practical elements. It offers a way for you to gain work experience, as well as an NQF registered qualification. This relates directly to an occupation or field of work.

Musina Municipality invites unemployed students to apply for Skills Programme 2023.

Location: Musina, Limpopo

Musina Municipality funded by the Local Government Sector Education and Training Authority (LGSETA) is offering the Skills Programme 2023.

SKILLS PROGRAMME: Further Education and Training Certificate: Plumbing SAQA IO: 58782

  • NUMBER OF LEARNERS REQUIRED: 25
  • STIPEND: R2 500
  • DURATION: 12 Month ( 1 Year)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • N2 Plumbing
  • National Certificate: Plumbing L2 (or equivalent)
  • Mathematical Literacy at NQF Level 3.
  • Communication at NQF Level 3.

The programme is aimed at preparing unemployed youth by providing them with an opportunity to acquire work experience up towards attainment of an NQF linked and SAQA approved qualification/ programme in specified field.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO APPLY?

  • South African citizens who are permanent residents.
  • Applicants should not have previously work experience or have participated in any learnership/ Work integrated Learning/ internship programme.
  • Applicant should not be older than 35 years.
  • Applicants should not have previously benefitted from LGSETA programmes for the same programme.
  • Applicant must commit to adhering to learnership agreement and fulfilment of all terms & conditions of the programme for the duration of the learnership including completion and submission of POE’S.

HOW TO APPLY

Applicants must specify the a qualification they are applying for accompanied by an updated curriculum vitae and recently certified copies of original qualifications, academic transcripts, SA ID document and proof of residential address confirmed either by a Headman, Municipality or Councillor.

Note: Appointment on the programme is subject to security clearance, verification of qualifications and signing of programme contract.

Only shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and correspondence will be limited to shortlisted and selected candidates.
