Magalies Water, a vital institution in the supply of water to industries and communities across three South African provinces, is proud to announce its Bursary Programme for 2024. This programme is aimed at assisting South African students who have excelled academically and wish to pursue studies in fields critical to water resource management and engineering.About Magalies Water:Established in 1969, Magalies Water Board has played a pivotal role in providing essential water resources to the North West, Limpopo, and Gauteng regions. Its primary objective has been to address the water needs of the mining industry in the Rustenburg and Thabazimbi areas, and over the years, it has expanded its services to cater to various sectors and communities.Bursary Fields of Study:Magalies Water is seeking to empower the youth through its bursary initiative. South African students between the ages of 18 and 35 who wish to pursue higher education in the following fields of study are encouraged to apply:
- Mechanical Engineering (N4-N6/Diploma/B Degree) – 3 positionsElectrical Engineering (N4-N6/Diploma/B Degree) – 3 positionsCivil Engineering (N4-N6/Diploma/B Degree) – 3 positionsWater Care (Diploma/Advanced Diploma) – 3 positionsChemistry/Analytical Chemistry (Diploma/B Degree) – 3 positionsBiotechnology/Microbiology (Diploma/B Degree) – 3 positionsFinancial Accounting (B Degree) – 2 positions
