An opportunity has arisen with our client based in Gqeberha for an experienced Furnace Operator.
Key Duties:
- Load raw materials into the furnace
- Operate pumps, valves and furnace equipment
- Unload product once sufficiently cooled
- Report defective equipment
- Adherence to Safety, Environmental and Health regulations
- Perform housekeeping duties
Competencies Required:
- Understand emergency procedures pertaining to the furnace process
- Understand the Health and Safety requirements for operating the furnace
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric with experience operating a furnace
- SAQA accreditation for operating a furnace will be beneficial
