About the Adapt IT Bursary:

  • Bursaries awarded for undergraduate and postgraduate studies in specified fields.
  • Fields of Study: Business Administration, Business Development, Finance, Information Systems, Software Development.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • South African citizenship.
  • Must be Black and from a designated group (as per B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice).
  • Completed Matric.
  • Minimum overall average of 60%.
  • Studying or intending to study full-time towards an undergraduate or postgraduate qualification in 2024.
  • Entering 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or Honours year of study.
  • Studying at specific universities: CPUT, NMU, UJ, UKZN, or UL.

How to Apply:

  1. Step 1: Register online and create your profile on the BSP Fundi website
  2. Step 2: Download and complete the Adapt IT Bursary Application Form 2024 (.pdf)
  3. After creating your profile, login, and apply for the bursary.
  4. Submit clear copies of required supporting documentation.

Required Supporting Documents:

  • Completed application form.
  • ID document (certified copy).
  • Matric certificate (certified copy).
  • Full academic record if already studying.
  • Proof of registration/acceptance into a tertiary institution.
  • Tuition fee statement (if available).
  • Parents or guardians proof of income (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed, proof of SASSA grant if applicable).
