The Western Cape province of South Africa is governed in a parliamentary system in which the people elect the Provincial Parliament, and the parliament elects the Premier as head of the executive. The Premier leads a cabinet of provincial ministers overseeing various executive departments.

Why you?
This programme is aimed at providing unemployed graduates with an opportunity to gain an understanding of working practices of the Western Cape Provincial Parliament through coaching, mentoring and on-the-job training by well experienced professionals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree: Law (LLB)
- National Diploma/B-Degree in: Public Administration
- Bachelor’s degree: Library and Information Systems
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma Statistics
In addition to the qualification listed above, applicants must be:
- A South African citizen
- Between the ages of 18 and 35
- Currently unemployed
- Must not have a criminal record
- Must not have previously benefitted from and/or participated in an Internship Programme.
