For admission into Undergraduates, Postgraduates, Diploma and Masters programs at the University of Zimbabwe for any first degree or second degree, an applicant must have the following requirements for successful admission.
These admission requirements are for various programmes offered at the institution, it serves as a guide in the application process. All interested applicants are to read through carefully making sure that they fulfill the requirements before putting in an application.

UNIVERSITY OF ZIMBABWE, UZ UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
For admission into programmes of study at the University of Zimbabwe for any first degree, an applicant must have the 5 ‘O’ subjects, including English Language at ‘O’ level and at least 2 ‘A’ Level passes or equivalent.
UNIVERSITY OF ZIMBABWE, UZ POSTGRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENT
Entry requirements for a Postgraduate degree Programme
A Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.
Duration of Programme: 1 Academic Year
Entry requirements for a Masters degree Programme
A Bachelors’ degree or postgraduate diploma from an accredited University in a subject or subjects relevant to the course applied for.
- Minimum duration – 2 years Full-time
- Minimum duration – 3 years Part-time
Entry requirements for a DBA or PhD degree programme
Applicants must be holders of Master’s degree or any other related programs from a recognized University. Practitioner Experience: Applicants must have management experience of at least three years pre – or – post Masters.
