Main Responsibilities
Financing:
- Optimizing usage of transactional lines (structure, sublimit, bank allocation etc.) in cooperation with the Trade Finance team.
- Reviewing and agreeing repo calculations and hedge movements with banks.
- Optimizing usage of various financing solutions (transactional, repo, clean, discounting)
- Liaising with banks and various internal departments regarding financing
Reporting:
- Reporting and reviewing fee calculations and optimising where possible
- Facilitating and streamlining reporting tools on transactional bank capabilities, sublimits and utilisation
- Undertaking various reconciliations between both interdepartmental and external records
- Tracking entire trade cycle flow and reporting accordingly to banks.
Candidate Requirements
Education, Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years Trade Finance experience in banks / Commodity trading company
- Very strong numerical/analytical skills
- Good MS office Excel skills
- Fluent in English
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability and willingness to interact effectively with all levels of employees and with external counterparties (such as banks) in international environment.
- Capacity to innovate and think out of the box
- Capability to solve problems, deadline oriented, positive minded
- Ability to work proactively and autonomously
- VBA knowledge a plus
- Ability to work in a high-pressure atmosphere.
