Job Purpose:

The SAMSA ICT Internship Programme offers opportunities for unemployed graduates to gain meaningful experience, complement their studies, and enhance their access to the job market.

About SAMSA:

The South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA) was established in April 1998 with a mandate to ensure the safety of life and property at sea, prevent pollution from ships, and promote South Africa’s maritime interests.

Required Qualifications:

  • Field: ICT
  • Number of Positions: 1
  • Qualification: Matric National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology with a focus on communication networks and/or security
  • Location: Head Office, Pretoria

Job Requirements:

To qualify for the internship programme, applicants must:

  • Be an unemployed graduate between 20 to 35 years old
  • Hold a Degree or National Diploma in ICT (NQF level 6)
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Not have participated in a previous internship programme
  • People living with a disability are encouraged to apply
