ABOUT Letsema LEARNERSHIPS PROGRAMME
The Letsema post-matric learnership is funded by BANKSETA, which aims to recruit unemployed matriculants so that they may further their studies and enter the workforce with greater skills. The learnership runs over the course of 1 year and successful completion of the programme means learners receive a NQF5 qualification in banking service advice.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR THIS LEARNERSHIP
- South African citizen
- Between 18 and 30 years old
- Completed Matric
- Passed Accounting or Mathematics in Matric
- Not currently employed
- Computer literate
- Good command of the English language (able to read, write and speak English)
- Good communication skills
- Self-motivated
- A team player
- Willing to learn
- Clear criminal record
- Clear credit record
- Previous banking knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
- Previous experience in the retail sector (advantageous but not essential)
