RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the planning, scoping and implementation of new systems.
- Preparing project budgets and presentations.
- Coordinate and Manage infrastructure and systems upgrades and rollouts.
- Responsible for complete budget management.
- Establish and maintain relationships with users, third parties/vendors and all stakeholders.
- Oversee all help desk activities at Constantia Afripack.
- Respond to escalated help desk issues.
- Oversee troubleshooting, systems backup, archiving, and disaster recovery and provide expert support when necessary.
- Create and maintain comprehensive IT project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with audit and group IT standards.
- Coordinate and interact with group IT for support.
- Prepare project presentations and monthly IT project updated for MANCO.
- Conduct weekly team meetings.
- Conduct monthly SLA meetings with vendors.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties & vendors for the successful execution of IT projects.
- Display consistent energy, drive, persistence and organization to deliver results.
- Resolve conflict and tolerate stress, while delivering on multiple deadlines in a high – pressured environment.
- Assigning work to the operations staff and the analysis, design, deployment and operations of the IT software supporting the business.
- Manages project team to implement internal systems and rollout projects with external vendors.
Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve It related issues and provides answers in a timely manner. - Ensure that company assets are maintained responsibly.

- Excellent skills in record keeping and documenting processes.
Minimum educational and experience requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Bachelor’s degree /Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent preferable
- Must have good understanding of server environment, software changes, software support
- Must understand It infrastructure technologies like storage area networks (SAN), WAN acceleration device, virtualization, backup and data warehouse
- Solid system support experience
- ITIL or PMI certification preferable
- Must take a leadership role and act as a go to person for the business units and IT department when it comes to IT supporting both projects and operations
- Must build/maintain and manage a strong IT team that can support the dynamic and fast paced environment
- Experience in business intelligence and implementing new business intelligence reporting to enhance user experience
- Suitable project management qualifications preferable
- Minimum 10 years of IT experience with 5 years of management experience is a requirement
- Minimum 5 years business analyst system support experience
Strong Microsoft skills (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) - Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Qlikview experience - ERP Systems support experience (Baan IV and SAP)
