Our client in the manufacturing industry is urgently looking to employ an Internal Sales Representative at their organization
Requirements:
- Matric
- Sales/Marketing Certificate
- 5+ years of experience within the manufacturing/pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in essential oils and Pharmaceutical Industry will be an advantage.
- Market knowledge/research
- Computer knowledge – MS office applications and Sage Pastel Evolution system
- Building customer relationships
Responsibilities:
- Implement sales policies and strategy set by the sales manager
- Support the sales team to achieve targets every month
- Perform administrative duties such as take orders, capture orders on Pastel, and prepare report if requested.
- Keep customer profiles and sales figures up to date
- Professional telephone techniques, pleasant phone manners
- Clarify, determine and proper adjustment to complaints, inquiries
- Liaising closely with accounts, purchasing, and production and dispatch departments
- Customer visits
- Remain up to date with sales information, stock availability, price strategies, and long term negotiated activity while keeping the team updated on all issues
- Attend weekly sales meeting
- Perform administrative duties such as take orders, capture orders on Pastel Evolution, and prepare reports, if requested
- Compiling daily sales reports
