We are looking for a skilled and confident HR Manager who will be responsible to support our manufacturing client with all policies and procedures. Excellent opportunity to use your energetic communication skills in both English and Afrikaans and your excellent track record that you have gained to date to support this successful organisation that is based in Epping.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12, HR Diploma essential
  • Proven experience as HR officer, Hr Administrator or similar
  • Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
  • Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability

DUTIES

  • Preparing job descriptions, advertising vacant positions, and managing the employment process.
  • Screening of CV’s and passing on to the relative departments.
  • Orientating new employees, managing absenteeism, doctors’ sick certificates, management of leave
  • Assisting with skills development.
  • Collating of all training registers for WSP and ATR
  • Manage the BEE process and requirements throughout the year and manage BEE reports
  • Deal with trade unions when required.
  • Manage staff files.
  • HR Strategies and Administration, contribute to the implementation of annual HR workplans
  • Source training service providers as per the needs of the organisation
  • Employee wellness programmes.
  • Overseeing the health and safety of all employees.
  • Optimise relevant HR processes and systems.
  • Maintaining employee and workplace privacy
  • Ensure that all staff understand and comply with Companies Policies and Procedures
  • Overseeing payroll and benefits administration, manage any problems with the relevant people if the payroll system is faulty.
  • Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance.
  • Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic and digital format.
  • Attend workplace forum meetings

Salary: R35 000 (dependent on experience)
