How to Cancel Motheo TVET College Courses and Studies

The management of Motheo TVET College has released the rules for how undergraduate and graduate students can drop classes and studies.

What happens to my fee account when I cancel my studies at Motheo TVET College?

You or your parents or guardians must give notice of your intention to discontinue your studies by completing the prescribed form. This must be delivered to your faculty office in person or sent by registered mail.

A reduction in the academic fees may be considered in special circumstances, depending on when the notice of intention to discontinue studies is received. Please consult the Student Fees Handbook for relevant dates.

All cancellations are subject to the prescribed administration fee.

Note: Fees owing are due immediately on cancellation of studies.

If you withdraw from individual courses that have a minimum duration of one semester, any fee reduction is dependent upon the date of withdrawal. Details can be obtained from the Fees Office.

Motheo TVET College Tuition Fees Structure

Students at Motheo TVET College pay tuition fees for every course taken. These tuition fees vary from course to course and cover:

  • registration
  • all charges for classes, tutorials, and laboratories
  • ordinary university examinations
  • library access
  • compulsory personal accident insurance
  • the use of general sporting facilities
  • In the case of medical students, hospital fees for clinical instruction
