  • Post: AGRICULTURE GRADUATE PROGRAM – LIVESTOCK FARM (24 MONTHS) X 27 POSTS

  • Stipend: R91 350.00 Per Annum

This is a twenty-four (24) Months graduate program.

Requirements 

  • Grade 12 plus Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) or National Diploma (NQF Level 6) in Agriculture as recognized by SAQA.

Competencies:

  • Computer literacy.
  • Good communications skills.
  • Good organisational skills

Duties

Be receptive to learning new methods of farming/gardening and sharing existing knowledge of farming.

Care, cleaning, feeding, and providing water to livestock if placed on livestock farm, Maintain all farming related equipment, tools, and supplies, including tractor and other machineries.

Assist others with various additional projects and work-related errands as needed. Always maintain bio-security measures on the farm.

Notify Manager of animal issues such as sickness, etc

Develop and discuss alternative and innovative strategies for the farm be it feeding systems, breeding systems, etc

Applications must be submitted on form a NEW Z83, obtainable from any Public Service Department or from the website, which must be completed in full.

Candidates must attach their recently updated CV, uncertified copy of ID/ smart card copied on both sides plus qualifications.
