About ETDP SETA: The Education, Training and Development Practices Sector Education and Training Authority (ETDP SETA) plays a vital role in enhancing the skills profile of the Education, Training, and Development (ETD) sector and contributing to employment opportunities, especially for previously disadvantaged individuals.

Scope of Internship Programme: The successful candidate will be expected to perform various tasks and responsibilities, including but not limited to project management, auditing of institutional knowledge, knowledge sharing and management, creating clear communication channels, and providing support for Teacher Education Development projects.

Qualifications: To be eligible for this internship, candidates must have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Honour’s degree (equivalent to NQF level 8) in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations, Education Training and Development, Industrial Psychology, Organisational Development, or Social Sciences.

Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for various tasks, including minute writing for meetings, proofreading documents, preparing meeting packs and presentations, organizing venues for meetings, assisting with unit administrative functions, establishing working relationships with stakeholders, participating in education, training, and development programs, and performing other administrative duties as assigned by the Line Manager.
