For admission into Undergraduates, Postgraduates, Diploma and Masters programs at the Bulawayo Polytechnic for any first degree or second degree, an applicant must have the following requirements for successful admission.

Entry Requirements of Bulawayo Polytechnic
Applied Art & Design Admission Requirements
- 5 ‘O’ Levels at ‘C’ or better, including English Language.
- A comprehensive portfolio of the applicant’s own work showing ability in drawing, painting, designing, imagination, creativity and composition.
Entry Requirement of Zimbabwe
Automotive Engineering Admission Requirements
- A Pass with ‘C’ or better, in 5 ‘O’ Level subjects including Mathematics, English Language and Science.
Applied Science and Technology Admission Requirements
- A Pass with grade ‘C’ or better, in 5 ‘O’ Level subjects including Mathematics, English Language and Science.
- Five ‘O’ Levels at Grade C or better including Mathematics, English and Science.
Civil Engineering Admission Requirements
- Applicants must have 5 ‘O’ Level passes including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject.
Bachelor of Technology Honours Degree in Environmental Health Admission Requirements
- Applicants must Zimbabwetisfy the entry requirements prescribed under academic regulations of the National University of Science and Technology for admission.
- Five ‘O’ Level passes including Mathematics, English and a Science subject with a grade C or better.
- Have Higher National Diploma in Environmental Health (1 year).
Commerce Division Admission Requirements
- Five ‘O’ Levels at Grade C or better including Mathematics, English for NC Accountancy and Banking only. Mathematics is not required for any other courses.
