Internship Location: Hotazel, Northern Cape
HMM is launching the 2023 Graduate Development Program. The program aims to train and develop graduates within the technical disciplines as shown below. Graduate development opportunities are available across the Production, Maintenance, Engineering, Finance, Supply & Human Resources departments and applicants should have recently completed their bachelor’s degree studies in the relevant fields from a recognised tertiary institution.
Requirememts
- Serious contenders will have a Degree/BTECH/National Diploma in: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, Accounting, Human Resource Development, Human Resource Management, Logistics , Communications;
- Have an inclination to work in heavy industry;
- Good communication, analytical and logical thinking skills will be preferable;
- Attention to detail and the ability to work within a team is essential;
- Any vacation work experience or practical training experience with exposure to these fields will be advantageous.
Core Accountabilities
- Successful candidates shall be exposed to Hotazel Manganese Mines (HMM) operations to gain knowledge that will enable them to participate meaningfully in their area of knowledge;
- They will undergo a structured learning program for a duration of 2 or 3 years during which they shall have an opportunity to establish themselves as a meaningful contribution to the organization.
