South African Weather Service Internship Programme 2022-2023 – Science Graduate

The South African Weather Service (SAWS) hereby invites applications for a one-year Internship Programme. We are looking for high-achieving graduates to join our Internship Programme in the following scientific fields:

Marine technical intern (ocean observations) (Diploma/ Degree: Marine Science, Oceanography,
Engineering). – Ref. Marine 2022

All applicants must satisfy the following requirements:

  • An appropriate tertiary qualification Degree/Bachelor of Science relevant to the above-mentioned fields.
  • An applicant must have been unemployed and with no work experience.
  • Applicant must not hold a NRF Bursary

Interns will be placed at the SAWS Cape Town office. Successful candidates will be responsible for their own transport to the office. The SAWS will pay a monthly stipend of R6 500.00
