INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME: ENGINEERING SURVEYOR (1 YEAR CONTRACT)

Applicants must be in possession of a 3 year Diploma (or B Tech) in Surveying with GIS as a
subject or 3 year Diploma in Geomatics with main stream surveying• Reside in the municipal area •
Code EB driver’s license • Computer Literacy applicable to the field • Good interpersonal skills •
Ability to work under pressure • Good communications skills in two of the three official languages of
the Western Cape • Candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 35.

Internship Overview: Furnishes tacheometry plans to initiate planning • Setting out of engineering
works • Maintenance and upgrading of survey marks • A variety of other surveys are performed •Manage site • Assist clerk/Draughtsman in drawing room • Assist manager: Spatial and CAD with
capturing of infrastructure.

Salary: R 100 000 p.a (all-inclusive)
