DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Purpose:
The expeditor will ensure that outstanding purchase orders are followed up continuously to ensure minimum stock outs and ensure stock arrives on time at the warehouse.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12
  • MS Office
  • Syspro

Duties:

  • Maintain a record of outstanding purchase orders.
  • Contact vendors, to understand the status of outstanding purchase orders for sales and WIP jobs.
  • Ensure that quantity of items being delivered matches the purchase order.
  • Co-ordinate with the end user to avoid any delay in the procurement process.
  • Obtain ETAs on outstanding components and ensure completion of sales back-order report.
  • Communicate outstanding ETAs with branch administrators.
