DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Purpose:
The expeditor will ensure that outstanding purchase orders are followed up continuously to ensure minimum stock outs and ensure stock arrives on time at the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12
- MS Office
- Syspro
Duties:
- Maintain a record of outstanding purchase orders.
- Contact vendors, to understand the status of outstanding purchase orders for sales and WIP jobs.
- Ensure that quantity of items being delivered matches the purchase order.
- Co-ordinate with the end user to avoid any delay in the procurement process.
- Obtain ETAs on outstanding components and ensure completion of sales back-order report.
- Communicate outstanding ETAs with branch administrators.
