The Mutare Teachers’ College Admission Requirements 2024/2025…… The Undergraduate, Masters & Doctorate Programmes Entry Requirements has been released for the 2024/2025 academic session.
For admission into Undergraduates, Postgraduates, Diploma and Masters programs at the Mutare Teachers’ College for any first degree or second degree, an applicant must have the following requirements for successful admission.

Mutare Teachers’ College Admission Requirements 2024/2025
- Diploma in Education (Science) plus a pass in two A level Sciences including Physics
- Diploma in Education (Science) plus five O level passes including Science, Mathematics and English.
BIOLOGY
iii. B Ed Biology – 2 yr programme
iv. B Ed Biology – 3 year programme.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
iii.Diploma in Education (Science) plus a pass in two A level Sciences including Biology
iv.Diploma in Education (Science) plus five O level passes including a Science subject, Mathematics and English.
CHEMISTRY
v. B Ed Chemistry – 2 yr programme
vi. B Ed Chemistry – 3 year programme.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
v. Diploma in Education (Science) plus a pass in two A level Sciences including Chemistry
vi. Diploma in Education (Science) plus five O level passes including a Science subject, Mathematics and English.
MATHEMATICS
vii. B Ed Mathematics – 2 yr programme
viii. B Ed Mathematics – 3 year programme.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
vii. Diploma in Education (Science) plus a pass in two A level Sciences including Mathematics
viii. Diploma in Education (Science) plus five O level passes including a Science subject, Mathematics and English.
NB :
- All students in the Department also take Educational Foundations as well as Professional Development courses offered in the Theory of Education and Teaching Practice Departments respectively
- All students take Educational Media and Technology courses offered in the computer studies department.
- All students take Communication skills courses offered in the Communication skills department.
- All students do one term of attachment Teaching Practice with an A Level class in their subject of specialisation.
