Position Title: Marketing Information Systems Intern
Duration: 12 months contract
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to technology solutions.
- Assist in designing and developing technical solutions that align with business goals and processes.
- Support in testing and quality assurance of software applications, ensuring they meet business requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, and work towards optimizing workflows.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technology trends and contribute insights to improve our IT strategies.
- Assist in developing and executing marketing campaigns across digital channels, such as social media, email marketing, and content creation.
- Analyze marketing data and metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content, including blog posts, social media content, and visuals.
- Help in monitoring and managing our brand’s online presence, ensuring consistency and positive customer experiences.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative marketing strategies that incorporate technology trends.
- Collect and analyze data from various sources to extract meaningful insights that inform both IT and marketing strategies.
- Create reports and presentations that communicate key findings, trends, and recommendations to stakeholders.
Requirements:
National Diploma / Degree in:
- Information Technology,
- Business Administration,
- Marketing,
- or a related field.
Skills and Competencies:
- Interpersonal skills
- Internal and External communication skills
- Strong interest in both technology and marketing, with a desire to learn how these disciplines intersect.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and marketing ideas.
- Proficiency in using tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, CRM systems, and data visualization tools.
