Responsibilities:

Trade Marketing is responsible for the development and strategic execution of all trade marketing activities across all regions to increase demand for the companies products, whilst ensuring that activities are aligned to the overall marketing strategy and communication plan.

Collaborates with the CMO and marketing leadership team for the ideation, planning & budgeting, production and implementation of all in market activities, including point of sales materials and promotions.
Responsible for strategic development of medium to long term trade marketing plans, and identifying new promotional opportunities
Oversees local teams in the execution of strategic trade marketing plans
Responsible for improving brand presence and campaign execution across trade through excellent point of sale planning, execution and tracking in line with annual marketing priorities
Collaborates with product managers and marketing team to build sales promotions and product communication.
Collaborates with sales teams to turn the “selling stories” into sales tools to effectively present the brands, the products and the marketing initiatives to their customers.
Collaborates with marketing intelligence resource to read and report results of activities and to provide recommendations and forecasts.

Ensures that the local customer feedback is taken into account by regularly visiting sales teams, customers and stores.

Develops best practices and toolkits for implementation by the local marketing teams
Ensures efficient spending of trade marketing budgets in the respective countries
Conceptualizing and executing trade promotions and roll out of impactful campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sales
Supports local teams in the execution of the activities and in achieving their sales and budget objectives, while ensuring the desired product benefits and brand values/equity are properly communicated.
Manages the point of sales material (including budget, logistics, distribution, assortment) by finding the most efficient solutions.

Qualifications:

+10 years’ relevant experience in a trade marketing related role in the Telecommunications or IT related industries.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English is a must.
Experience within an international or modernized company is required.
Prior Sales experience or background is highly recommended.

A bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent
Postgraduate degree would be an advantage.
