City of Johannesburg (CoJ) invites South African unemployed graduates to apply for EPWP Graduate / Internship Programme 2022 / 2023.

The City of Johannesburg (CoJ), Social Development Department has the following Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) opportunities available for a period NOT exceeding 12 months.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 Matric/ NQF level 4
  • Must be South African Citizens
  • Ages between 18 – 35 years
  • No experience required

Internship Opportunities are open for applications:

City of Johannesburg: EPWP Internships 2022 / 2023 in Johannesburg, South Africa

Food Resilience Unit: EPWP

Responsibilities:
• Stock control and inspection of fresh produce;
• Assist with community outreach services hotspots; • Data collection.

Various other Units: EPWP

Responsibilities:
• Administration of data collection;
• Assist with community outreach services;
• Administration and expand social package.
• NB. Community Work certificate / Social Auxiliary Work / Certificate in Administration would be an advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

Knowledge / passion of working with communities / displaced Persons / Migrants / Children / Youth / Women / elderly/ People with disabilities / skills Development / Substance Abuse Clients / Expand Social package (ESP) / Households or Demonstrate Participation in Field Services / Door-to-door campaigns / Blitz operations or financial Administration.
